Do We Offer?
East Meets West offers a unique service in the South Australian
community for intercountry adoptees.
We Offer...
We are here for contact, information, assistance and support, for
the growing number of inter-country adoptees and/or families with
adopted children of any age.
We will connect you with other inter country adoptees by bringing
people together into the networks we are continually strengthening and
widening. Some are for older, as in 18 year olds an over and others for those around 10 years
and older. For details refer to

East Meets West each year has a social calendar, including an
annual camp, so adoptees from around 10 - 17 have heaps of opportunity
to catch up, have some fun, while and enjoying the companionship of
others who share that common link of adoption. New friendships do
often begin! Potentially this creates an environment where others can
understand when you need to talk about anything to do with being
adopted without making a big deal out of it. For

We have a "mentor" group of adoptees mostly (18 to 30
something in age !!) who volunteer to lead, join in and assist with
these events, imparting a little of their own experience of adoption
along the way. For details refer to

Opportunities to speak at forums about your adoption experience for
adoptees and their families. For

East Meets West has a list of professionals
with experience in adoption related issues (medical, psychological,
